An Independent Vocational Evaluation (IVE) is a systematic analysis of all employability factors required to make a range of vocational recommendations.  It starts with a review of records followed by a detailed interview, comprehensive vocational testing, formal transferable skills analysis and occupational/labor market research.  It may include labor market survey of employer contacts. Subsequent opinions and recommendations are made based on a reasonable degree of vocational certainty.

An Expert Witness will perform an IVE in anticipation of testifying in a legal proceeding.  An Expert Witness typically is an experienced evaluator with a history of providing vocational services. At ARS, Mr. Askew and Ms. Christensen have worked in that capacity for many years.
